JULY 2020 WINNERS

BEST PICTURE OF THE MONTH

Till The Petals Fall (United States)

DIRECTOR: Alyssa Angeles

PRODUCERMitali Khare

DOP: Anselm Havu

Director Biography – Alyssa Angeles:

Alyssa Angeles grew up in Richfield, Minnesota. She found her passion towards film through the Minneapolis music scene. She started making music videos for herself and friends, and found the conjunction of film and music to be more powerful than each alone. She then went onto an artistic journey where again she used the medium of film to document the creative process between eight strangers in the Twin Cities. The documentary brought her a milestone but it still lacked a connection. She moved to Los Angeles to continue her study of film. She continues to discover her voice as a director, and her concepts still emerge from the music in her head.
