Kintsugi is a millennial Japanese art of repairing porcelain, consisting in mending the broken pieces back together with gold, transforming the damaged item into a more beautiful, unique and precious form. This Brazilian cinematic project, includes 3 videos interspersed with 3 interludes, is a representation of Kintsugi. The concept is a philosophical contrast of a amorous relationship, mirroring the 3 processes of a broken heart: the immaculate state of Euphoria, where there is a hint of urgency and innocence, the perfection of being in love; Disappointment, represents the rupture and disillusionment, bringing sadness and discontent, to finally jump into the process of reconstruction and alteration itself, Kintsugi. The short film soundtrack was written in English and Portuguese with aspects of Asian sounds and modulations.
